In 30 photographs, the Venezuelan Photographer Nicolás
Pineda portrays Lebanon and its people. During 10 days, the
photojournalist traveled through the country and encountered
in his passage an impressive architecture which he revealed
its cultural and historical richness. His contact with the
people enabled him to know their greatness and the spiritual
force that characterizes them. The photographs were taken
with cinematographic purposes in collaboration with the
Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Lebanon.
In addition, several photos, pertaining to a series taken in
various corners of our country, will be also exhibited, as a
way of showing the integration between Lebanon and
Venezuela, where one of the most important Lebanese
communities resides, and continuing to tighten the bonds of
friendship "Between Peoples".
The exhibit will be opened in Beirut on February 13 in the
Information Hall of the Ministry of Tourism of the Lebanese
Republic, in Hamra, where it will run through March 1. Then
it will be presented in the Safadi Cultural and Sports
Center in Tripoli between the 6th and
15th
of March 2008.
